We endeavor to make this website accessible. The declaration on accessibility is required by the Bremen Disability Equality Act. The technical requirements for accessibility are set out in BITV 2.0.

This declaration on digital accessibility applies to www.stw-bremen.de

How accessible is the website?
This website is essentially accessible. The requirements of BITV 2.0 are essentially fulfilled. The review of compliance with the requirements is based on a self-assessment carried out on 20.01.2026.

Which areas are not barrier-free?
Incompatibility with BITV 2.0. Sub-areas that are not or not yet barrier-free:

1st barrier: PDF files
Description: In addition to an accessible web version, the weekly meal plans of the canteens are also available as non-accessible PDF documents as an additional option. Annual reports up to 2024 are not accessible.
Measures: When creating new PDF files, attention is paid to accessibility. Due to automated generation, it is not possible to make the menus, which are also optionally available as PDF documents, accessible.

Barrier 2: Missing alternative texts
Description: It cannot be ruled out that alternative texts for some visual elements are missing or could be more meaningful.
Measures: The alternative text in question will be adapted if optimization possibilities are indicated.
