Studying in a foreign country is a great adventure. Far from home a lot of things are new and you have to get to grips with different customs and values. Studying in Germany is strange, too, and you will probably face new and different structures and educational methods.
Without family and friends to fall back on, many students often feel isolated. We want to help you to deal with this type of situation. And we are there for you if you want to talk to someone who is familiar with these situations and can empathise with you.
All of the Psychologische Beratungsstelle services apply, of course, to international students. If you are doing a foundation course rather than the course you have chosen to study, you can still come to us. Our counselling services are free of charge and are strictly confidential. If you prefer, we can provide counselling in English - just let us know when you register.
For more information, or to arrange an appointment, please contact Ms Intemann at the Secretariat.
The Bremen Student Unions Psychologische Beratungsstelle is a member of the "Round Table for International Students in Bremen".
